Tasnim Bala is the proud owner and operator of two esteemed driving schools: Super Driving School Toronto and Vision Driving School Durham. Raised in a family deeply rooted in education, equality, and human dignity values, Tasnim migrated to Canada in 2000, drawn by the nation's commitment to upholding human rights and freedom of expression for all.

 

Armed with a Master's degree in Economics from a reputable university, Tasnim embarked on her career journey as an English and History teacher. She was driven by a passion for nurturing young minds and fostering academic excellence.

 

Fluent in multiple languages, including English, Urdu, Gujarati, and Hindi, Tasnim deeply appreciates the diverse cultural and religious tapestry of South Asian communities. Her experiences as an immigrant have equipped her with resilience and empathy, fueling her dedication to supporting women's empowerment and advocating for their pursuit of dreams.

 

Currently, Tasnim Bala holds esteemed positions, including Director of the Association of Driving Schools and Instructors of Ontario (ADSIO), and Founder and President of Progressive Community of Scarborough (PCS). She actively contributes as a stakeholder of the Ministry of Transportation (MTO), serves as the woman coordinator of the Council of Gujarati Canadians (CGC) and Olpad Surat Trust (OST), and volunteers with various social and religious organizations.

 

Dedicated to community service, Tasnim organizes and hosts women's social events and programs while conducting workshops for newcomers on obtaining driver's licenses, mastering winter driving techniques, and maintaining vehicles in all seasons. Her unwavering commitment to education, empowerment, and community engagement embodies her ethos of service and leadership.
